* UK Number and Global Profile: When you are with the SIM in any country of the world apart from USA, Canada, Mexico, UK or Italy.

* UK Number Prime Profile: When you are in the United Kingdom or Italy.

* US Number and USA Profile: When you are in the USA, Canada or Mexico. The US Number is the USA Profile.

 

* SIM (Voice) Call:

By default, the SIM Call circle is checked. If you want to find out the Web Call or Data Roaming Rates, you would have to check the relevant circle and follow the instructions below, which is similar for Web or Data Rate checking.

1st: When looking up calling rates for a particular country, for example, you are roaming or in the United Kingdom with the Smart SIM, you will have to point your mouse or click on the arrow at the end of the “SIM Location” or ‘Call Origination” rectangular box arrow and scroll downward to select the country + roaming network partner you are in physically with the Dual Global Mobile SIM; for this example – UK Mobile Orange (Prime Profile) [GBR].

2nd: Then you would have to point your mouse or click on arrow at the end of the “Active Number” to select the Profile of the SIM. Normally this is country/profile dependent. So, if you are in the UK, it will automatically adjust to the Global or Prime Profile.

3rd: Select the “Other Location” or “Call Destination” by pointing your mouse or click on the arrow at the end of the “Other Location” or “Call Destination” box to select the country telephone number + network you are calling. Let us say, you are in England and calling the United States, you would have to select the United States Telephone Network you want to call.

4th: Inbound USSD Dialing String: You would have to select the Inbound number you would prefer to receiving incoming call and this

must be your UK +44 Telephone number that your caller has to call if you are to receive free incoming calls when in any of our 120+ Free Incoming Call countries. If you select your +44 UK Global Telephone Number, it will display “0” dollar as call rate in the rate calculator and if someone calls this your +44 UK Telephone Number, you will not be billed for receiving the call as long as you are located in one of the Free Incoming Calls countries and as long as it falls within the definitions of peak, off-speak and super-peak (weekend) periods for free incoming calls.

5th: Then next, click on the “Get Rates” button at the end of the right hand side of the calculation table. For the example of call rate look-up provided above, when calling the United States Telephone Number from the United Kingdom roaming on UK Mobile Orange (Prime Profile):

6th: It is advisable you try and calculate for the various networks you intend to roam on in a particular country and also the destination country telephone networks to see the lowest possible rates so you can select your roaming network when in that country to roam on and make cheap outgoing calls.

 

* Data & Web (Voice) Call:

You can check or click on the circle in front of “Data” or “Web Call” to check rates for these channels as well. However, for the Web Initiated Call, the call origination number can be any number and not necessary only your Dual Global Mobile number UK or US number. It can be any mobile or landline telephone number from any country. Whichever telephone number you are typing in as the “Call Origination”, just ensure two things: the telephone number is valid and active and you have the phone right with you so you can answer the call when you receive a call back to be connected to the final destination number you may call.

However, PLEASE NOTE the followings:

* Free Incoming Calls in some countries may be available during United Kingdom (UK) Peak, Off-peak and Super Off-peak (weekend) time as follows:

 

Peak – Monday –Friday 08:00-17:59:59

Off Peak – Monday-Friday 18:00:00-07:5959

Super Off Peak – Saturday 00:00:00 – Sunday 23:59:59

 

* Note that in some countries, free incoming call would be achieved when you select your Dual Global Mobile SIM to roam on a particular network by setting the Operator Network to be manual and locking or saving it on a preferred roaming partner network with free incoming call in that country.

* Calls on the +1 US number of the Dual Global Mobile SIM will incur a charge according to the periods below (some countries still subject to United Kingdom (UK) Peak, Off-peak and Super Off-peak (weekend) time as previously stated:

 

Peak: Between 17 and 18 cents (US) per minute

Off Peak: Between 14 and 15 cents (US) per minute

Super Off Peak: Between 6 and 7 cents per minute

 

* If there is a charge for Peak, Off-peak and Super Off-peak (weekend) periods for receiving calls on +44 UK number of the Dual Global Mobile SIM, this charge will be added to the charge for receiving a call when your Dual Global Mobile +1 US number is called. For instance, if in a particular country, the charge for Super Off-peak period is 1 cent per minute when the +44 UK number is called, depending on the duration of the call, you may be charged only 7 cents only for the US number that is been called while in some scenarios, you may be charged 7 + 1 cents = 8 cents per minute for the whole 60 seconds or one minute call. That is 7 cents for the charge on the US number and 1 cent for the charge on Super Off-peak (weekend) on the UK number.
